-Short-Glass Fiber/Nylon Composite Spar and Polycarbonate Baseplate with Gapless Baseplate Padding, NEW B3 Gel Hell Cushioning and Tool-Free Adjustable Gas Pedal
-Living Hinge Nylon Hi-Back with Independent Forward Lean and Hi-Back Rotation, Progressive Flex and True OTT EVA Padding -Pre-Curved, Triple-Axis Telescoping Superstrap with TPU Tunnel, New Super Capstrap with Grip Fit and NEW Tool-Free Length Adjustment -Dual Component Smooth Glide Buckles with Polished Stainless Steel Levers and Quick Release Gate Flex Rate: 5 The Burton P1 was my choice of binding last season and will be again this season. The reason is that the P1 has plenty of power behind it and is one of the most comfortable bindings around. This season, Burton added some extra comfort on them with the new B3 Gel baseplate cushioning and a new capstrap with 'grip-fit'. The P1 also has a new ankle strap that is super comfy and adjustable without tools. The baseplate on the P1 is made of a short-glass-fiber/nylon-composite spar matched seamlessly with a polycarbonate base for an unmatched snow sensitivity and board feel. I have ridden these bindings on all kinds of terrain from the icy east coast to Colorado Pow. I have ridden rails, boxes, and the pipe in these bindings. They perform well all over the mountain. These are the most comfortable bindings I have ever ridden. Bruizza

Other Thoughts: I couldn't find any cons for this bindings they're perfect. They're the most comfortable binding you could find and it straps and unstraps really well. I used them for everything and there wasn't anything i didn't like about them. the brown is sick too.
1/15/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: This binding is fantastic. Super comfy straps and the gel on the base plate adds to the comfort. Burton's most comfortable. Burly buckles are excellent and aren't cheap at all. Living hinge works well.
Cons: A tad heavy but comfortable.
Other Thoughts: Best for freeriding. A bit heavy for freestyle.
Burton P1 Snowboard Bindings Advice & ChatGuest
Question
what binding would be better to put on a vapor, p1 or c60? im an advanced free rider...thanks -- great thanks
Best Answer
If you're looking to do freeriding with it and want more response, the C60 would be a great choice. -- The P1 is a bit less responsive, so it'd be more for a bit less agressive all mountain riding |
